The second kind of model of physical reality proposed by quantum physicists is one in which the probability distribution again exists objectively, and decomposes, just as before, into distinguishable branches at the macroscopic level. However, no mechanism selects one of these branches as the unique branch that is experienced in human consciousness: there exists, in the fullness of nature, a conscious experience corresponding to each of the alternative possible outcomes of each of the measurements.
